RFID & KANBAN

Container systems for C-parts.

We create a two- or multi-container system for your C-parts, ensuring that they can always be found in the right quantity at the right point of consumption right when they are needed. A new container is sent as soon as a container is emptied. This can be done in a fully automated manner using RFID technology or by manually scanning the empty containers.

OUR RFID SYSTEMS
RFID iShelf
iShelf

The top shelf acts as a sender unit. Empty Kanban containers are placed on the top shelf. RFID technology detects the empty Kanban container and sends the purchase requisition to RECA Industrie

RFID iShelf Mobile

The mobile RECA RFID iShelf offers all the advantages of our RFID iShelf. With 192 containers, the mobile RFID iShelf allows your production to remain flexible, self-sufficient and mobile at any location. RFID technology detects the empty Kanban container and sends the purchase requisition to RECA Industrie.

RFID iBox
iBox

The RECA RFID iBox is an intelligent collection station for empty Kanban containers. Empty Kanban containers are placed in the RECA RFID iBox. RFID technology detects the empty Kanban container and sends the purchase requisition to RECA Industrie. There is space for up to 180 containers in the RECA RFID iBox.

RFID iTagbox
iTagbox

The RECA RFID iTagbox is an intelligent letterbox for RFID tags. The tags of empty Kanban containers are thrown into the RECA RFID iTagbox. RFID technology detects the tag of the empty Kanban container and sends the purchase requisition to RECA Industrie. The customer’s own containers can also be equipped with RECA RFID tags.

RFID iBin
iBin

A camera is placed in the Kanban containers. This records the fill level of the Kanban container in real time. As soon as the fill level falls below a predefined point, RFID technology sends the purchase requisition to RECA Industrie. This transmission does not require manual intervention.

RFID iGate
iGate

The RECA RFID iGate allows a large number of empty Kanban containers to be scanned en masse. Empty Kanban containers are gathered on a pallet and driven through the RECA RFID iGate. The RECA RFID iGate detects all empty Kanban containers at once and sends the purchase requisition to RECA Industrie.

RFID iPlacer

The RECA RFID iPlacer is a small, battery-powered module with integrated reader and sender unit – similar to a supermarket checkout. The RECA RFID iPlacer can be used directly at a workstation or flow racking system. If a Kanban container is empty, it is simply held in front of the RECA RFID iPlacer or moved past it. The RECA RFID iPlacer detects the empty Kanban container and sends the purchase requisition to RECA Industrie.

RFID iTurn
iTurn

Using RECA RFID iTurn technology, a new purchase requisition is triggered when the Kanban container is turned over. The interior of the Kanban container is physically divided into consumption and reserve stock. When the consumption stock is exhausted, the container is turned. You can continue to work with the reserve stock and we will take care of the repeat delivery.

RFID iPush

Using RECA RFID iPush technology, you can trigger repeat orders by simply pressing an order button. This technology is particularly suitable for heavy and bulky items.

RFID iScale
iScale

The RECA RFID iScale is a weighing cell module that can be fitted to our Kanban containers. The scale attached to the container records and sends your requirements directly. An order is triggered as soon as a predefined weight is reached. This system is particularly suitable for individual containers, such as those that are used directly at a workstation.

RFID iWeight
iWeight

The RECA RFID iWeight works on the basis of the weight of the products in the Kanban containers. As soon as the weight falls below a specified minimum, RFID technology sends the purchase requisition to RECA Industrie. This system is particularly suitable for repeat purchase requisitions in Kanban shelving.

RFID iPalett

The RECA RFID iPalett acts as an intelligent collection point for empty KANBAN containers. The empty KANBAN containers are placed on the RECA RFID iPalett. Alternatively, our containers can also be stacked directly on a Euro pallet on the iPalett. RFID technology detects the empty KANBAN container and automatically sends the purchase requisition to RECA Industrie.

RECA KANBAN

Our KANBAN containers.

Practical, stable, stackable, folding. Everything you would expect from a Kanban container.

Five standard sizes to choose from:

  • RECA KLT 2115 – 200 x 150 x 150 mm
  • RECA KLT 3215 – 300 x 200 x 150 mm
  • RECA KLT 4315 – 400 x 300 x 150 mm
  • RECA KLT 4115 – 400 x 150 x 150 mm

RECA KANBAN

Our RECA trolley.

Do you have a number of containers that you need to use at different workstations but you don’t want to equip all workstations separately? And are you looking for a solution to this problem?

The RECA trolley is a mobile workstation optimisation tool for up to 84 containers, allowing you to move each of them to your workstations.

Our RECA KLT 2115 container gives you the option of comfortably transporting containers from A to B on a trolley.

Manual recording of requirements.

Would you like to record your requirements manually? By scanning the empty Kanban containers, you can ensure an uninterrupted supply in line with your management schedule.

Planning

Specify the number of containers and fill level.

Record the requirement by scanning the container

Transfer the purchase requisition to the RECA inventory management system: We can provide you with documents electronically.

Picking and filling your containers

We label on request: colour codes, cost centres, points of consumption.

Goods delivery

On request, we will handle the incoming goods inspection for you and distribute the containers on your shelf.

We answer frequently asked questions.

What does RFID stand for?

RFID stands for radio frequency identification. This enables fully automated
transmission of requirement information via radio technology to our inventory management system.

What is KANBAN?

Kanban is a two- or multi-container system that provides your C-parts “just-in-time”. In addition to optimising inventory, it ensures the availability of goods by means of the two- or multi-container principle.

Which RFID systems are available?

There are currently 9 different RFID systems to choose from in the RECA RFID portfolio, depending on your individual requirements. These are as follows:

  • iShelf– the empty container is placed on the intelligent shelf for repeat ordering and stored there
  • iBox– the empty container is placed in a designated box for repeat ordering and stored there
  • iPlacer– the empty container is held up to a module or moved past it for repeat ordering – the supermarket checkout principle
  • iTagbox– the tag of the empty container is thrown into an intelligent letterbox for repeat ordering
  • iGate– all empty containers are moved together on a pallet through an intelligent gate that detects all containers
  • iTurn– a purchase requisition is detected automatically when the container is turned
  • iPush– modules attached to the shelf of the container trigger the purchase requisition when a button is pushed
  • iScale– a weighing module is attached underneath the container and triggers the purchase requisition when a reporting weight is reached. This is done in the single-container system and is therefore also suitable for management directly at the workstation
  • iWeight– a scale is positioned underneath each container in the Kanban shelf and sends a new purchase requisition to RECA Industrie when a reporting weight is reached
How does RFID technology work for C-parts?

Each C-part you specify is stored in a KLT container according to the two- or multi-container principle. Each KLT container has an RFID chip that stores all the necessary data about the product contained therein.

This includes an item description, your material number and the fill level of the container. If a container is reported as being empty, the RECA RFID system automatically detects all information using the RFID chip on the empty container and triggers a repeat order via the mobile network at the time interval you have specified.

For which products is RFID/Kanban suitable?

For all products that you define as C-parts. From screws to custom parts, anything is possible

How does the product on repeat order arrive at the designated location in my production system?

Our RECA system advisor visits you as often as you have specified and stores the goods received from your incoming goods delivery.

What happens to the empty containers?

The KLT empty containers are stored on a collection pallet by the RECA system advisor as part of their management activities. As soon as the pallet is full, it will be collected by our partner carrier during the next incoming goods delivery. Each KLT container is then washed and re-labelled.
